She has made a habit out of shocking on the red carpet.
And Miley Cyrus had to go out of this world in order to top those previous outings.
The 22-year-old singer turned heads in a very revealing silver number which showed off her chest and other assets while strutting down the red carpet for her hosting gig at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

She is serving as emcee of the event so she definitely had to outshine the rest of the stars arriving at the event as she channelled her inner Barbarella in a silver futuristic number.
The outfit featured a shiny suspender-like top that barely covered her chest which lead to a chandelier-type skirting complete with chains and teardrop-like jewells.
She finished off the look with a pair of over-the-knee-high silver Versace zip-up heeled boots featuring a gold patterned detailing at the heel.

[이데일리 e뉴스 김병준 기자] 미국 팝스타 ‘마일리 사이러스’가 자신의 전신 누드 셀카를 공개해 논란이 되고 있다.
페루 언론 ‘El 코멀시오’는 31일(한국시간) “할리우드의 악동으로 잘 알려진 마일리 사이러스가 사회관계망서비스(SNS) 인스타그램에 자신의 전신 나체 사진을 게재했다”고 전했다.
공개된 사진 속에는 화장실 거울 앞에서 알몸으로 셀카를 찍은 사이러스의 모습이 담겨 있다. 다행히 은밀한 부위는 별모양 스티커 이모티콘으로 아슬아슬하게 가렸다.
그의 독특한 행동에 해당 언론은 물론 미국·영국 등 전 세계 매체들이 앞다퉈 이 소식을 보도하고 있다.
사이러스는 지난 31일 열린 MTV 비디오 뮤직 어워드(VMA)에서 사회자로 낙점된 상황이었다. 중요한 일정을 앞두고 벌인 돌발 행동에 대해 현지의 팬들도 부정적인 반응을 보이고 있다.
그동안 마일리 사이러스는 자신의 인스타그램에 종종 누드 사진을 게재해왔다. 하지만 ‘셀카’로 전신 나체 사진을 올린 건 이번이 처음이기 때문에 논란은 당분간 계속될 것으로 보인다.
한편 마일리 사이러스가 진행을 맡은 이번 VMA 시상식에는 테일러 스위프트, 저스틴 비버, 마일리 사이러스, 리한나, 비욘세, 퍼렐 윌리엄스, 브리트니 스피어스, 브루노 마스 등 전 세계 유명 팝스타들이 출연했다.

Miley Cyrus has shared a naked selfie as she prepares to host the MTV Video Music Awards.
The 22-year-old singer, who fronted the awards ceremony, gave fans a sneak peek of her preparation for the big hosting gig -- posing completely nude in front of a mirror.
Bleary-eyed Cyrus lamented waking up so early to host the event, captioning the Instagram picture: "When yiew da host so you gotta get to the vmas early AF!!!!! (sic)"
The Wrecking Ball hitmaker covered her modesty in the snap with two stars Photoshopped over her breast and genitals.
Cyrus recently revealed she persuaded MTV producers to include her in more segments at the awards so she can wear multiple outfits.
The star has promised the "most colourful" VMAs in history with lots of costume changes.
In a Q&A on the MTV Tumblr page, Cyrus said: "i made mtv add me intothe show more so i could have more looks lol! so many coloooorsssssand jewllllzzzz =] want this to be the most colorful vmas of allherstory ;) (sic)"
